About Chris

“Change, to me, isn't about changing who we are, it's about truly being who we are.

I am a licensed professional counselor with 15 years of experience. I am known for having a calming presence, being gentle, caring, safe, thoughtful, and attentive. My philosophy is that life has a way of impacting us to the point that we can no longer be our authentic selves. Counseling can help us soften these impacts and restore and strengthen that which is authentic within us. I use Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS) to help others heal and bring inner harmony and restoration to their lives and relationships.

I specialize in working with adult individuals who have experienced trauma/complex trauma, anxiety, struggle with addictive processes, eating and body image challenges, emotion regulation challenges, autism, and working with those in the LGBTQIA+ community. I have a passion for working with those who have been marginalized, excluded, and disenfranchised.

When I am out of the office, you might find me hiking, backpacking, playing my trombone, woodworking, traveling, or spending time with my two adult daughters.
