About Shannon

“Have you ever thought “How did I end up here?” There are times in our lives when we may feel lost, alone, or stuck, not knowing where to turn and encountering emotions we are not sure how to handle.”

Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or navigating ongoing struggles such as anxiety, addiction, grief, or life transitions, I am here to walk alongside you. I believe that healing begins within a trusting, supportive therapeutic relationship—one where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where we can work together toward meaningful growth and change.

I draw from an integrated approach to therapy, incorporating person-centered, strength-based, and EMDR modalities to tailor treatment to your unique needs and goals. With over 30 years in the helping professions, and more than 18 years working in the field of substance use disorders, I bring both experience and a heartfelt commitment to every client I serve.

Outside the therapy room, I find joy in caring for our lively “mini farm,” home to horses, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, a potbelly pig, and a particularly charming peacock named George. I also enjoy crocheting, reading, and spending time with my husband, children, and grandchildren.
